This is a basic pedometer. It counts steps using the internal acceleration sensors. It does not need access to GPS data, so battery consumption is quite low. It does some math to calculate calories burned, and it keeps a simple log. There are no unnecessary bells or whistles. And it is free (with embedded ads). Cool...
Great app with one major flaw. For some reason the day does not start until midday. This means that if you use it before that time your steps are recorded as having been walked on the previous day. Irritating.
Perfect for what I need. Taking a fitness class that has to track your steps. But I can't use an app that allows you to input steps for obvious reasons of cheating. Some people may wish they add it but I really hope they don't or less I will have to use a different app. 😜 do please stay how you are app developer at least until i finish this class.
This is a wonderful app that really makes me think about walking. I love it. One thing though, cancel is spelt C.A.N.C.E.L but this app spells it C.A.N.C.L.E. It's kind of funny though!
I really like this app and it works really well. It's the best pedometer I ever tried. Only have 1 problems with the app: My week starts on Monday, not Sunday. Would like change that. It's really annoying that it starts on Sunday... Anything else, it's a great app!!
A great pedometer for those of us who are starting out with walking plans. There are lots of really useful stats to follow such as distance, steps, calories and time, all of which is tracked and reported per day and week, with goals to aim for. The ads are non intrusive.
