About this app

The TD Authenticate™ app is a Two-Step Verification method for your EasyWeb®, WebBroker® or TD Business Central™ Canadian online banking applications.

Simply download the app and follow the registration process to connect your account and device to the TD Authenticate app.

Once you've registered, you can generate a security verification code in the TD Authenticate app while online or offline (not connected to Wi-Fi or a mobile network), without the need for texts or phone calls.

This confirms it's really you accessing your EasyWeb, WebBroker or TD Business Central online banking.

The TD Authenticate app is for use with EasyWeb, WebBroker and TD Business Central. For other TD apps or digital platforms, please use the Two-Step Verification services they provide. We are working on enhancing the TD Authenticate app, as well as onboarding new businesses and platforms within TD.

Note: Text or Voice One Time Passcode is required to register for the TD Authenticate app on your device.

ZERO STARS! Does this work when I'm overseas? Yes. Is it secure? No - it doesn't stop anyone else from bypassing the need for the app code. They can just enter a code from text. And why, for the love of god, don't you allow us to use TOTP via a QR code? 1Password is a much better option. Lastly, why not allow us to add security keys (Yubikey) as a verification method? It is infinitely better than your app.

This App did what I wanted on my old phone. Just upgraded my phone and tried to login. The App says I have an Unsupported Account but I have chequing, credit card and discount brokerage accounts. Google searches suggest the issue has been going on for months.

Apparently this app has been decommissioned for over 2 months now with no resurrection date so far if ever. Spoke to TD today and they confirmed it. Thanks TD for letting your customers know. Guess you are not customer centric? We need yubikey as an option too! SMS is not secure! Also notice no comments here from TD either?
