Kabu-Kabu is a privacy-first, peer-to-peer taxi and courier app — built for anyone who wants rides and deliveries without a surveillance trail.

Traditional ride-hailing apps store your exact GPS coordinates, tie every trip to your real phone number, and route all traffic through a company relay. Kabu-Kabu does none of that.

🔒 HOW PRIVACY WORKS
• Your GPS coordinates are immediately converted to a fuzzy ~5 km GeoHash cell — raw coordinates are discarded and never transmitted.
• Your phone number is SHA-256 hashed on your device. The plaintext number never leaves your phone.
• All peer traffic flows through the I2P (Invisible Internet Project) anonymity network — 3-hop garlic routing means no driver or courier can see your IP address.
• Trip records are stored only in an on-device database. No cloud backup. No central server. No data broker.

🚕 REQUEST A RIDE
1. Open the app and register with a hashed phone number
2. Set your pick-up zone and destination area
3. Choose Taxi or Courier
4. Your request is broadcast over I2P to nearby drivers — privately

📦 COURIER SERVICE
Send packages without disclosing your address. Kabu-Kabu matches you with a courier in your fuzzy zone and lets you coordinate over encrypted P2P chat.

🚗 DRIVER OFFERS
Receive multiple driver offers showing ETA, anonymous driver ID, star rating, and fare estimate. Accept the best offer — the driver is notified directly over I2P.

💬 ENCRYPTED P2P CHAT
Once matched, communicate directly with your driver through the app's built-in I2P-encrypted chat. No phone number shared. No third-party messenger needed.

⭐ STAR RATINGS
Rate your driver after each trip. Ratings travel across the P2P network, helping future riders choose trusted drivers.

💱 LOCAL FARES
Kabu-Kabu's offline fare estimator calculates trip costs in your XMR (Monero) based on zone and distance — no internet required for estimates.

📋 TRIP HISTORY
All your past trips are stored locally on your device. They are never synced to any server.
