Versuz is a privacy-first peer-to-peer skill betting app powered by Monero (XMR) — the leading privacy cryptocurrency. Challenge anyone, anywhere, without trusting a central platform or bookie.
🏆 HOW IT WORKS
Versuz uses Monero's 2-of-3 multisig technology to lock stake funds in an escrow wallet jointly controlled by the Challenger, the Opponent, and a neutral Arbitrator. No single party can move the funds alone — two signatures are always required.
1. Challenger creates a bet and invites an Arbitrator via QR code
2. Opponent accepts and both parties fund the multisig escrow wallet
3. The skill challenge takes place
4. Winner is confirmed — funds are released automatically
5. If there's a dispute, the Arbitrator casts the deciding vote
🌐 TOTAL NETWORK PRIVACY
All peer-to-peer communication is tunnelled through I2P (the Invisible Internet Project), an anonymising overlay network built directly into the app. No IP addresses are ever exposed to your counterparties or to us.
🕵️ NO ACCOUNTS, NO KYC
Your identity is never shared with bet counterparties. Each user gets an isolated encrypted database and a unique Ed25519 node key for secure, pseudonymous participation.
⚖️ FAIR DISPUTE RESOLUTION
Disagreements happen. Versuz handles them fairly:
• Either party can raise a dispute at any time
• The pre-agreed Arbitrator reviews evidence and rules
• Loser's stake is released to the winner upon ruling
• No single party can freeze or steal funds
💸 LOW, TRANSPARENT FEES
A small service fee (1.5% default, range 1–5%, minimum 0.000001 XMR) is collected atomically at payout — no hidden charges, no withdrawal fees, no surprise deductions.
🔑 SECURITY HIGHLIGHTS
• 2-of-3 Monero multisig — funds are fully non-custodial
• AES-256 encrypted local storage via Android Keystore
• All P2P messages signed with Ed25519
