Best app ever..i recd a cb in 5 minutes! No driving to doctor's office, waiting for an hour or more. This teledoc is a Godsend, he did consult, he was fuuulllll of info i wasnt aware of and as a stroke survivor i shldve know, less than 20 min, my antibiotics were phoned in to my pharmacy. Im so grateful.
The person that I spoke to could barely speak English. I asked ahead of time if he was authorized to give a doctor's note for work. He said yes and that he would be sending it to my email. I never got the doctors and I have no way of contacting him because he called me from a blocked number and the email was sent through teladoc, so I cannot replay through email ether. I like the idea but it still needs a lot of work. if you are unsatisfied with your care call 1800Teladoc.
Video calling is non-functional, so don't even try. You MIGHT get a doctor that speaks English if you're lucky, I'm 50/50 so far. If your description of symptoms is too mild, you won't get a script. If your description is too severe, they'll tell you you have to go see a doctor. You have to hit that perfect sweet spot if you want a script from them.
The worst! Don't use them!! Use Dr on Demand, they are WAY better... got a dr and she told me video calls can't help you.. Well i want a refund then.
If I could give negative stars I would. Spent almost 2 hours total from registering to waiting for a call to get a notice saying my request was cancelled. I called the 800 number and they just said they could set up another request for another $10! Needless to say I got out in the rain sick as a dog to an urgent care .
I had a great experience. I used the app to request a call back. The Dr called me very quickly, diagnosed my situation, called in a prescription. Which i was able to pick up in no time. Thank you so much for an effective & painless experience.
