How Tend works:

1. Choose how you want to see a doctor
• See the next available GP
• Book an online appointment when it suits you
• Book to see a doctor in person at a Tend clinic
2. For booked appointments, choose the Tend doctor, date and time that’s right for you. If you’re seeing the next available GP, you’ll be shown your estimated waiting time.
3. You’ll get a video call in the Tend app for online appointments or visit one of our Auckland medical centres for your in person appointment.
4. Prescriptions are sent to your preferred pharmacy to pick up and you can easily order repeats of your long term meds in the app.
5. Access your care team, appointment notes and test results any time through the Tend app

Who can use Tend?

• Auckland residents can use all of Tend’s services as a casual or enrolled patient.
• Everywhere else in NZ can only see the next available GP online as a casual patient.

It was a great app to find everything in one place healthwise for myself and child, being able to read consultation notes afterwards is super handy when my child is playing up. I love being able to book appointments without having to ring up both online & in clinic. All staff I have interacted with have been kind, friendly and knowledgeable. My app started playing up recently-I can't log in even after uninstalling it and clearing the cache. Still waiting to hear back from support team

The app isn't working. Its asked me to log in again for some reason, gives me a code and then immediately tells me that code has expired when I enter it, and sends me a new code, in a never ending loop. I have emailed as they have suggested, but no response.

A good app for most things but sadly I cannot see all my lab and radiology results, only those requested and reviewed through a Tend doctor. A concern is that Tend is entirely dependant on this app as there is no website to fall back on if the app fails, as it did recently. But props to Tend for fixing it in under a week.
