It gets the job done better than the remote. But it's kind of limited? To the devs : I suggest making the ability to create custom preset colors so you don't have to recustomize them every time. I use my led lights as a night light and a day light, so I do a lot of switching. Sometimes i find colors I like and want to use, but can't make that exact color again, so custom presets would be great if possible.

The app is great, the lights however were rather dim. The video on the Amazon website makes it look as though they will brighten a room... they will not. The led lights are also spaced at least 1.5-2 inches between them. All in all, great for a child to get an rgb gaming setup and play music. Not for adults who game or anyone who wants to make a room brighter in a meaningful way.

considering i paid almost nothing for these lights, i can't really complain. installation of the lights was simple & straightforward. the app itself is very basic & doesn't allow for much customization compared to others - but again, you get what ya pay for all that being said, it may be worth spending a little more for lights with a nicer interface
