If they would allow their app to rotate into landscape or zoom on command, it would go up 2 or 3 stars. As it is, I can't see the right half of their embedded videos because they are wider then the text and go off the screen. They make hardly any settings available. I can't track any comments I make except the hard way - scrolling back thru the story until I find mine.

I pay good money for this app. But today, The Athletic announced that in addition to paying the subscription, I will also have to listen to ads during its podcasts. No rebate, no option to pay more and avoid ads (even), just a worse product for the same price. No thanks. Not renewing.

I have a relatively new phone and this app has continuously gone downhill. Notifications that I have turned are not working and general glitches are recurring even though I've reported them repeatedly. I am not receiving notifications that I have turned on, like game starts and results. And new this week, I can't get more than one notification at a time from this app apparently! AND there isn't even a way to report an issue with the app!!!! Horrible product and terrible customer service!!!!!!!!
