High hopes for the updated version, but again I am disappointed. Despite the recipes being good, the app is not the most functional. Notifications will tease you with a 25 minute recipe so good that you want to lick the bowl! And then when you click on it, it takes you to the last recipe you looked at, a recipe that takes 3 hours or the home page. It's irritating and infuriating. Also, there is no landscape mode or measurement conversions.

I don't know what you started doing differently with the emails from the editor, but links in the emails never open directly to a recipe anymore. They just open the app to the home page, for at least a week now. I'm guessing it was the update on the 9th that created the issue. Please correct the emails or the app, whichever is making this not work.

Purchased app for a year back in November. Hasn't worked at all. Have written NYT Customer Service several times, describing my issue, giving all my pertinent information, yet have only gotten unhelpful responses. Have therefore been charged subscription fee and have received absolutely nothing. Quite frustrated and perturbed to be left twisting in the wind. Makes me start to reevaluate whether my entire NYT app is worth the cost, given that one can easily access all the news they want for free.
