About this game

Numbers down the side, numbers across the top, and a picture hidden in the
grid. Work out which squares to fill and the picture appears. That is the
whole game: a pencil, some paper, and dozens of pictures to find. Nonograms
have many names — picture cross, griddlers, hanjie, Japanese crosswords — and
they are all the same logic puzzle. It works offline.

EVERY PUZZLE IS PURE LOGIC
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

• You fill a square because the numbers tell you to.
• Every picture is checked by a solver before it goes in the app. It must be
solvable by thinking alone, and it must have exactly one answer.
• A color picture passes that test twice: once with the colors as part of the
puzzle, and once in black and white. You can play it either way.

DRAWN ON PAPER, IN PENCIL

• Fill a square or cross it out. Drag to do a whole row of them at once.
• The numbers stay next to the grid when you zoom in, so you always see the
line you are counting.
• On big grids, a magnifier follows your finger, so your hand never hides the
square you are about to fill.
• Undo and redo as much as you like.

DOZENS OF PICTURES

• Sets of pictures: Animals, Sea and Sky, Garden, Household, Travel and
Objects.
• Sizes from a quick 15 × 15 to a tall 25 × 35 that fills the whole screen.
• Each set goes from small to large, so every set is its own easy climb.
• Play any picture in color, where the numbers are colored too, or in black
and white, and watch the picture color itself in as you go.

HINTS WHEN YOU ARE STUCK

• Tap Hint and it points at the row or column you can work on next, and tells
you which number to look at.
• It points and explains. You still do the thinking.
• Hints are free, and you can use as many as you like.

THREE WAYS TO PLAY
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

• CLASSIC is the normal way to play: fill the squares, make mistakes, and work
them out from the numbers yourself.
• GUIDED means the app helps. It tells you as soon as a square is wrong, and
counts your mistakes for you.
• STRICT counts your mistakes: three on an easy picture, up to seven on a hard
one. Use them all and the picture starts again.

• Free, and it works offline: on a plane, in a tunnel, on the bus.

• Ads show only between pictures, after you put the finished one away.
• The break is counted in squares you fill, not pictures you finish, so a few
small pictures count the same as one big one.
• One payment removes ads for good. You pay once and that is it.
• Everything in the game is already yours. The payment only removes ads.
