So many problems - can't list them all. The most fundamental one is that trip planning often gives nonsensical results. I take a regular trip from A to B using line C. However, when the app is in a bad mood, it instead says to take line D, which would take much more time as it involves a lengthy walk to the bus stop. Google Maps lists the correct route. This app desperately need much more thorough testing before any release.

Hi there! We always want to know about any problems with the trip planner so that we can make improvements. Could you please tell me the origin and destination of this trip? If you have a screenshot of the incorrect directions, that would be a big help. You can send this information to review@transitapp.com and we'll take it from there!

Atrociously inaccurate more often than not. GPS symbols of incredible wrong and need you to believe the buses are either much closer or much further away than they actually are. Of course it doesn't help that the COTA bus system provides appallingly bad service and routinely runs late or isut doesn't show up at all, but this app is very little help in actually helping you get where you're going. Other reviews that say the app automatically eliminates viable routes prematurely are correct as well

After a few days, it appears the app is working again. It appears there was an update, and perhaps that was what caused previous issues. It's not perfect, but it is a pretty reliable app, AND it's the only one I know of that's free. All others want $$$ for accurate bus locations. This one is free, but sometimes the GPS position of busses is off, and sometimes it has the wrong bus number connected to the bus that shows up, and you can't submit a way to fix that.

Hi, sorry this is happening; we're here to help! Could you send us an email from inside the app? That will give us a debug report so we can address the problem. Open the app, tap Settings (gear icon), then tap the Transit logo (on the right of the 3 icons), then Email Us. Thank you!

What's new

Spring is here. The snow is bye. The roads are teeming with cyclists. Time for our usual spring cleaning adjustments, and more:

- We’ve added bikeshare fare info to the app, so you can see how much a ride on those metal tanks will run you
- Real-time data for nearby lines should now load a picosecond or two faster
- Other bug fixes and aerodynamic improvements

Rate us 5 stars to put Sriracha in our super cyclist bike bottles for extra motivation.
