It works OK when the holiday does not include anything external. When booking a flight that is offered by a third party, the ENTIRE booking is not retrievable. I would expect to be able to see the same information that I see on the Web (so the constraint is not technical!). I am very disappointed not to get the same level of service just because THOMSON AIRWAYS DID NOT OFFER ANY FLIGHT to the chosen destination.
Would be good to state everything that the app can't be used for to avoid time wasted. Be good if staff in the store knew as well as it was recommended to us when booking our Lapland holiday. Waste of time, not fit for purpose. Response from helpdesk for others as I still cant see Lapland listed....... Please note that the following types of bookings cannot currently use the app: Thomson Cruises, Group Bookings, Long Haul Destinations, Thomson Villas, Thomson Weddings, Thomson/First Choice bookings made via a third party or Lapland bookings.
Can be abit annoying when it freezes or doesnt display pictures of holidays. Difficult to clear your shortlist. Good for a quick search
When trying to apply the date of holiday it is stuck on Januaury 2014. When holidays do appear there is no photo summary showing on the list.
Nowhere does it say that it can't be used for a Lapland holiday booked through Thomson, I checked the website, Apple and Google stores. Turns out that Lapland holidays can't be managed through the app according to app support, who I contacted when I kept getting error messages trying to retrieve my booking. Useless.
didn't seem to work - kept saying 'try again in a moment', so deleted app & did it online
