Tide Spend Express is a simple way to hold, spend, and move between bitcoin, stablecoins, and euros in one app. Open a custodial wallet, get a Visa card, receive euros via SEPA with your own virtual IBAN, and buy or sell digital assets — all in a regulated European setup.

Your digital assets are held in custody by our partner Lightspark Payments Europe AS (Striga), a licensed Virtual Asset Service Provider authorized by the Financial Intelligence Unit of the Republic of Estonia (license FVT000546). Cards are issued under the Visa scheme through our partner's licensed card-issuing infrastructure.

Who Tide Spend Express is for

Tide Spend Express is the pilot release of the Tide Spend platform. It's designed for individual users who want a straightforward way to bridge traditional payments and digital assets, with a licensed custodian handling key management on their behalf. A non-custodial version of Tide Spend is in development and will be available to eligible users as it rolls out.

Getting started

Download the app, verify your identity, and fund your wallet — either by SEPA transfer from a bank account in your name, or by depositing a supported digital asset. Your virtual IBAN and card become available as soon as verification is complete.
