About the Game

Card Crawl 2 is the official sequel to the beloved original. Once again, you’ll face Hoerni and his friends in clever solitaire-style card battles.

This time, a brand-new core mechanic is introduced. Instead of just 4 dungeon cards, you now play with up to 16 cards stacked across 4 columns.
Sort, equip, and sell cards to outwit every monster in the deck. Harness plenty of new spell cards and, for the first time, add equipment items to your runs, which add a whole new layer of strategy.

Grow your collection and take on a variety of offline and online game modes that will test your skills with each of the newly added hero types.

Ratings and reviews

First, this game is really fun. While I would vastly prefer to just pay $10 to remove ads forever, something I would gladly do given my trust for this developer, I understand that to a degree he's being "forced" to adapt to the mobile market. That being said, if this wasn't Arnold Rauers I would have uninstalled the second I saw coins and diamonds in the UI. Ultimately, I will probably spend less than $10 on the $1/month subscription and I hope this doesn't indicate worse monetization to come.

Never played a game where I'm forced to buy the ability to earn in game currency. Pretty ticked about it. You're limited to 250 coins, but there's only 3 buyable things in shop for earned coin. One is impossible 700 coins. You can buy 2 things, then refresh to 3 times or wait 12 hours. It only takes 1-2 rounds to earn enough, & you can never buy the third thing unless you want to pay for a bigger limit. It's ridiculous. Feels like I'm wasting play when I top out. Hate it. it COULD be awesome.

Card Crawl, but a million times better. Rauer has improved and expanded every aspect of his OG winner and made it dynamic, engaging, and extremely addicting. A lot of people seem to be mad about the 250 coin limit- 99 cents gets you to 1500 for life (more than enough) and supports the creator. I do wish I could pay a flat fee to get rid of ads instead of subscribing, but the ads are mostly optional anyway. I really can't get enough - Bravo!
