About this app

PoolVolumeCalc works out how much water your swimming pool holds, for pool owners and service technicians who want quick, straightforward numbers.

• Rectangular, round, oval, and kidney-shaped pools, with both lobe widths for kidney pools
• Enter sizes in feet or meters, with shallow and deep end depths for the average depth
• See volume in US gallons, imperial gallons, liters, and cubic meters, plus surface area
• Get the fill time from your hose or pump flow and the minimum pump flow for an 8-hour turnover
• Sloped bottom option: flat shallow and deep sections joined by a slope, for a more exact volume
• Water test dosing: enter free chlorine, alkalinity, calcium hardness, cyanuric acid and salt readings and get product amounts to reach your targets, checked against public-pool ranges
• Turnover and filter sizing: pump flow for your chosen turnover time and the minimum sand, DE or cartridge filter area
• Heat-up: energy needed to warm the water and the time for your heater output
• Reference amounts for chlorine shock, alkalinity increaser, and muriatic acid
• Save your pools as profiles and share a result in one tap

Chemical figures are rough guides; always follow the product label.
