About this app

WaterUsageCalc estimates your household's water use and the bill that goes with it, so you can see where the water goes and what a change in habits would save.

• Estimate from household size and an average daily use per person
• Or estimate by activity: showers, toilet flushes, faucets, laundry, dishwasher and outdoor use
• See a breakdown of where your water goes
• Get daily, monthly and yearly totals
• Estimate monthly and yearly bills from your rate, with an optional sewer percentage and fixed monthly charge
• Work in gallons (price per 1,000 gal) or litres (price per m³)
• Tiered rates: set up to three price blocks and see the charge of each tier
• Upgrade savings: see what efficient showerheads, toilets and clothes washers would save in water and money each year, with the payback time when you enter prices
• Leak check: estimate the water and money lost to dripping faucets and a leaking toilet
• Use your own currency symbol and copy the result summary with one tap
• Save and compare several household scenarios
