As a Fioptics+ TV customer, you can watch live TV from anywhere in your home on your Fioptics network connection.

Latest update: no longer shows the channel number for the channels - just the name. Needs to be fixed. Also, showing a live window is NOT a benefit. Needs a way to close it. Latest update is NOT an improvement. Guess you didn't do any live testing with users. The channel numbers MUST be there. You use the app to see what is on later tonight. You find a show and now want to watch it on the TV. So you go to the guide on the TV, and go to...... What channel? Now you have to look got it again.

Works on Nvidia Shield now so that's great. Waiting months for it to work. One thing that's missing that I'm very surprised about is the lack of a "previous channel" option. An idea, Setup the left button on the directional pad of the remotes as the "previous channel" button. I hate having to go into the guide & find the channel that I was watching everytime I want to switch back & fourth between two channels.

You can't watch most of the channels if you're not on their wifi. Spectrum's TV app let's you watch anywhere. This sucks, I just switched because it was supposed to be better. Now I can't watch the game unless I'm home! 😡 And you cannot go to the content providers own app for certain channels either, because they don't support Altafiber. Example, try to watch the game on CBS, the CBS app doesn't have Altafiber as a provider option so you can log in, hence you are unable to watch live TV!
