The official David Lloyd Clubs app is compatible with Android 6 or later and is free to download. The app is available in English, French, Dutch, Spanish, Catalan, Italian and German.

Ratings and reviews

There are outages on the app and the infrastructure doesn't seem to very stable at all. I get laggy behaviour, endpoints taking ages to respond, and I've been bombarded with multiple confirmation and error prompts when trying to book a class at my local club. Fingerprint reader is temperamental, I'm regularly logged out of sessions. The UX for the login screen needs work. Not sure which digital agency you guys got in to build this App, but you guys need to give them a GOOD telling off.

Fed up with the broken app. It worked fine when I first started in August, but sometime in October or November it started regularly crashing when trying to book classes at 7pm. It stops working and im struggling to book my favourite classes. Im so disappointed because I love the gym, but I'm fed up of missing so many classes due to it crashing and missing out because the classes are full by the time the app works again. I am now going to look for another gym. Such a shame.

edit: Jan 2026 and app continues to get worse so downgrading to 1 star. not able to book any classes when released as the app crashes. fix up!! original: its fine when it works but I constantly get error messages saying 'oops something went wrong', not allowing me to log in or book my classes. very frustrating as I rarely see them release updates for the app to fix bugs
