The official David Lloyd Clubs app is compatible with Android 6 or later and is free to download. The app is available in English, French, Dutch, Spanish, Catalan, Italian and German.

Ratings and reviews

There are outages on the app and the infrastructure doesn't seem to very stable at all. I get laggy behaviour, endpoints taking ages to respond, and I've been bombarded with multiple confirmation and error prompts when trying to book a class at my local club. Fingerprint reader is temperamental, I'm regularly logged out of sessions. The UX for the login screen needs work. Not sure which digital agency you guys got in to build this App, but you guys need to give them a GOOD telling off.

Impossible to use this app between 6.30pm and 7pm. This is the time when bookings open up for new classes the following week it seems everyone tries to log on and the system just can't cope. continually get the "oops something has gone wrong message" or just can't log in at all. by the time I can log in, all the classes are booked up. This isnt a one-off, it happens every day, clearly the app can't handle the users trying to use it and needs better capacity.

Unusable at peak booking times. When classes open (e.g. 9 days before at 8pm), the app constantly crashes, logs me out, or shows “Something went wrong”. I have to retry for minutes just to get in, and by then all classes are fully booked. The app and servers clearly can’t handle predictable demand. Extremely frustrating for a premium membership.
