I don't think there's an app more frustrating than Toast. It seems to manage a number of loyalty programs for individual restaurants, but many of these restaurants don't show up in the app. Clicking the link in an email from the restaurant pointing to toast doesn't help. It also does not seem to be able to handle phone numbers linked to different email addresses (I had to change my email address and the seems to have confused the app which insists on linking to accounts based on a phone number.

Underdeveloped. There's no reason that using Toasttab in a browser should be a better experience than the app. At one restaurant, the option to make a sandwich a combo is just missing on the app, but it's there on the website. Plus there's no way to remove stuff from my cart, but once again, no problem on the site. I like Toast as a platform for ordering food but the app serves zero purpose, just use the website.

The Fort Knox of take out apps! Why make users jump through so many security hoops to order a sandwich?! Stupid app never remembers me on my own phone and makes me log in every time. I should be allowed to turn off 2-factor authentication when it's pointless but no, I have to do that every time. Then it doesn't remember my prior orders. The website is just a tad better - it remembers orders, but the login doesn't work on Chrome. I wish restaurants would drop it for pretty much any other service!
