WallMapp brings spectacular watercolor maps to your phone screen, with a live wallpaper & lockscreen showing your current location as a hand-drawn painted map.

Stamen's watercolor maps have been featured in the Smithsonian Design Museum and combine the spectacularly detailed mapping data of OpenStreetMap with hand-painted watercolors, using digital art algorithms to produce hand-drawn art covering every meter of the planet.

WallMapp puts these maps directly onto your phone, so you can see familiar sites in new styles at home, or explore whole beautiful new terrain as you travel.

All map images in WallMapp are carefully cached so that your wallpaper works perfectly offline, and the app monitors your location in the background only with low-priority occasional checks coordinated by Android itself, so you'll never see it dent your battery life.

All data in WallMapp is 100% private: there's no tracking, no ads, and the only 3rd parties are the map imagery and payment handling providers. All map imagery comes from the amazing work of Stadia Maps, Stamen Design, and OpenStreetMap contributors, who own the copyright to all content shown, which is included here under their respective licenses.
