Ratings and reviews

App has some issues such as randomly not able to place trades, or setting up a stop only for it to not work during normal trading hours. Customer service will be nice on the phone but never follow up and no fixes for issues. I'm actively looking for another broker. Pro's, TradeStation doesn't charge and fairly fast on orders. But that's only worth so much if your platform is has bugs.

So far it's a bit disappointing. I applied for L3 options but only received L1??? Not useful to me. They have trouble with giving accurate quotes, currently a 4 cent difference to actual price on my acct. I really don't l8ke the app at all, the format is bad and confusing. Finding what you need to do takes too long to be efficient. I'm not a Day Trader but get restricted when trying to buy anything. Poor feature, poor app, not such a good broker either. Not advised.

I periodically try out new online brokerages to see if anything really impressive is out there and so far, out of a dozen I've tried, TradeStation is certainly the worst online brokerage I've encountered. Between clunky functionality, a general lack of transparency, and a bevy of fees ("there's this fee, and this fee, and then this fee") it's perhaps not surprising that they also have to make the process of closing accounts as byzantine and time-consuming as possible. Best left in the "station."
