For a free service, it is exceptional as long as other apps aren't in use. If your TruConnect phone is close to max memory, you have to delete many apps for better function. Otherwise you will get the dreaded "app is not responding" every 5 seconds. I'm a delivery driver for Door Dash so this can be a serious problem, function slows significantly, navigation stops, it's frustrating when I'm in an unfamiliar environment with food to deliver and no way to find the customer

thru (CA) Lifeline Program: It's cool that it's free; & a free smartphone (cheap, small storage). Talk & Text are good. (Int'l calls N/A to me.) And the service is for 1+yr as long as you use it at least once every 30 days. But their data is NOT "UNLIMITED". It's only 6GB. But they don't tell you that. They used to have ways to earn points (watch vids, play games, etc.) to be able to purchase Top-Ups (more data) for free. But lately those features have been disabled.

at the beginning I really liked MyTruConnect, but over a years time my data kept running out faster And faster for no apparent reason. I was always connected to WiFi, so my data should have reached every month at renewal just fine like it did the first 5 months. than I had to start buying data, at first it was affordable $10 than $15 than $20 now it's $35!!! for 20gb of extra data. that's a whole month. I started looking for new service once again! 😔
