New files in your cloud account are automatically downloaded onto your device. New files in your device are uploaded. If you delete a file on one side, it will be deleted on the other side. It works across multiple devices (your phone and your tablet). If their folders are synced with the same cloud account, they will be kept in sync with each other.

This is how Google Drive works on computers but not on Android. Two-way automatic synchronization should be an essential function of the official app. For whatever reason, it is not the case. Autosync for Google Drive is here to fill the gap.

All file transfers and communications between user devices and cloud storage servers are securely encrypted and do not go through our servers. No outsiders will be able to decrypt, see or modify any file contents.

Ratings and reviews

Fantastic app and well worth the asking price. Neither OneDrive nor Google Drive could do what I wanted. True they'll back up your data but stuff like preserving your photo album organisation is a lost cause. And good luck if you keep your stuff on the SD card instead of internal mem. This app handles it all. I chose Google as I already had an account but the OneDriveSync app is just as good. The only thing I'd add to the app is to be able to exclude selected subfolders in folders being synced.

Checks for updates much faster than foldersync pro. Less versatile: lacks the ability to filter some file types. Constantly tells me it needs me to turn off battery optimisation in order to run in the background despite the fact that I have already done that. No mechanism for dealing with differences in file naming conventions/legal characters between e.g. Google Drive and Android.

Initially I thought the app was making mistakes by duplicating files but it doesn't do that. OneDrive is better. It's not this app that's doing it and it's not the app that's causing thing is to slow down and stop. It is Google drive itself that is causing these problems. I shut off my Google Drive and unsubscribe from it and then subscribe to high storage limit with OneDrive and I do get duplicates. This app works great is Google drive itself that lacks performance.
