With the help of the PollDi app, the University of Augsburg is investigating what the most effective strategy for allergy management with the support of an app looks like.
When using the app as a participant in the study, the connection between your symptoms and environmental influences, such as pollen count, is examined.
It is analyzed whether the use of the PollDi app has a measurable influence on individual allergy symptoms and/or the disease-specific quality of life.
The symptom data collected as part of the study are evaluated anonymously in compliance with strict data protection regulations together with the local environmental data in Augsburg or in Bad-Hindelang, such as the pollen count, air pollutants or the weather.
