The good: unlike WeChat or Alipay, I was able to set it up from the UK without getting the account blocked. The international version is blessedly-simple which helped. The bad: they lost two stars because there is no way to see the card number on the bound TourCard. This means I can't make purchases online - for example train tickets I will need when in China. C'mon guys, we all appreciate security but stopping a user from seeing their own card number?

I use it to pay MTR fare. It just fail to deduct from my card without reason. After some time, it reported that my card is expired. But, my card on hand is NOT expired. Anyway, I bound the card again by scanning. It said that my card is already bound. So, this confirm that the already bound card is NOT expired. I try to un-bound / delete that already bound card, but there is NO way to do so. There is NO button to un-bound / remove the card from the app

This apps meant for tourists to link their debit or credit card to a mainland bank TourCard eg "SH Bank" which is a prepaid, virtual card. So it function like a e-Money wallet. Topping up is limited to 3000 cny if without passport verification. Different from Alipay or Wechat where its eCard mobile system where payments are deducted from your debit or credit cards.
