I just wanted a simple hassle free app where they post jobs and I submit a resume and fill out a job application. This app is more of a hassle defeating the purpose of making it hassle free and making it more of a process instead of making it less of a hassle. I'll just keep using apps like ZipRequter because it's direct and straight to the point. No time consuming process other than setting up an account and submitting a resume which doesn't take long.

I signed up for this app to get a little xtra $ after spending too much on Xmas. Did orientation and signed up for 1 job that did a background check. I have a few things on my record from years ago, and this resulted in an auto 3 strike suspension months later without working 1 day. Upshift should discuss disqualifiers during sign up. Thankfully, I only needed a little work to pad my accounts, but some people may not be as fortunate. If you have a rec,don't give up, but look elsewhere.

Upshift definitely has pros and cons for the Las Vegas area. The sign up process was super easy and quick. However, the big con - there's no jobs available. For Las Vegas to be such a major city, and for Upshift to constantly be recruiting large amounts of people, I would think there would be more opportunities available. The recruiter definitely made it seem like there would be. If I DO finally see a position, it's the same cook job. So that's disappointing. Definitely read reviews.
