While I didn't experience the battery drainage, I had others. I have a Venu 3. Many times the watch app doesn't close when I stopped on the Phone. This is forcing me to turn off the watch and turned on back and many when I check in Sleep as Android, the heart rate and other metrics from the watch has suddenly halted in the middle of the night. BTW they can improved the app by give it an option button and turn off the screen after a while.

Hello Jochem, this sounds like the the communication between the wearable and the main app is interrupted at some point during the night. Are all involved components excluded from the battery optimizations, and allowed to run in the background? The tracking screen dims, what option for screen dimming are you using?

Knock on wood, I haven't experienced the battery drainage that other reviews mention. I'm currently using a Venu Sq with SW version 3.7. I have "data recording" on the watch set to "every second" instead of "smart" and I have Pulse Ox turned on full-time (all of which is supposed to be harder on battery life). Even so, my experience after a few days is that I lose 11-14% battery during an overnight sleep tracking of 7-8 hours. That's fine by me and I don't have any problems with functionality.

The app destroys my Garmins battery. My watch has recently only been lasting a day on my Fenix 5x.. It used to last a week or so. This issue needs to be resolved. Otherwise, I enjoy the data collection / sleep tracking capabilities. Edit: I've updated my rating to one star, as I can't deal with the battery drain anymore. From half battery to less than 10% in one night of sleep. This battery issue has to be resolved before I can recommend this app to anybody.
