About this app

The Informed DeliveryĀ® Mobile application allows you to start your mornings with a preview of your day’s USPS mail and packages. This free app lets you see photos of your mail before it arrives and receive USPS tracking updates.

You can use the app to:

• Create your account or sign-in with an existing account.
• Get daily digest notifications to preview your mail and packages scheduled to arrive soon.
• See grayscale images of your mail before it arrives*. Images are of the exterior, address side only of letter sized mail.
• Interact with mailer-provided digital content associated with your mail (e.g. - special offers, related links).
• Scan eligible tracking numbers or label barcodes to track the status of your inbound or outbound USPS packages.
• Get delivery status updates directly to your smartphone.

*Images are only provided for letter-sized mailpieces that are processed through USPS’s automated equipment. Mail and packages may not arrive the same day you get a notification – please allow several days for delivery.

Is not accurate at all! You get the email telling you that you have 4 pieces of mail coming "today." You only get 3. Don't bother using their feedback option, because they never respond. So we went to the post office to ask why the piece of mail didn't come. It's not a guarantee of delivery. So it's not INFORMED then either? A piece that was scanned in on Monday, didn't get delivered until Wednesday. What's the point?

I really dig this app from the oldest government institution the USPS it lets you know what's in your mailbox or po box and takes a photo of your letters/packages and sends you a notification showing the envelope and who it's from how cool is that so if your mailbox is a mile away from your house you won't waste a step checking an empty mailbox and of all the apps I've downloaded I feel this one is the most secure they even send you a letter confirming that you downloaded this app thanks USPS🫔

Worst app ever. When I try to login it just goes back to the home screen over and over. It's impossible to sign in...
