Ratings and reviews

I don't know what people are complaining about, this app works fine. For clarity, no, this app doesn't allow you to play PC games on mobile, because that's not how software works. It's basically the app version of the steam website, with some additional features. The QR code login feature is VERY convenient, as I frequently need to sign into my Steam account on other devices, and this app lets do it with the push of a button.

The Steam app works just fine- I genuinely don't know why (at the time of writing this) it has a 2.9 star rating. I've been able to do just about everything through it. For example, manage and remotely install any games remotely to my devices, buy and remotely install games, check support tickets, check new inventory items, etc. Even Steam Guard is working just fine. For an app designed to be a mobile port of a PC gaming client, it's more polished than any other ported app Ive seen on here.

I like the interface a lot, I think it's easy to use. The main reason I'm giving them 5 stars is for support. I lost access to my authenticator and account due to not using it for years. When I wanted back in and realized I was locked out, the support team worked hard to help me regain access, because of my own stupidity. I got to keep the one game I had actually bought at that point and my username, which I'm pretty attached to. Say what you will, but the steam support team are awesome.
