Ratings and reviews

I don't know what people are complaining about, this app works fine. For clarity, no, this app doesn't allow you to play PC games on mobile, because that's not how software works. It's basically the app version of the steam website, with some additional features. The QR code login feature is VERY convenient, as I frequently need to sign into my Steam account on other devices, and this app lets do it with the push of a button.

I like the interface a lot, I think it's easy to use. The main reason I'm giving them 5 stars is for support. I lost access to my authenticator and account due to not using it for years. When I wanted back in and realized I was locked out, the support team worked hard to help me regain access, because of my own stupidity. I got to keep the one game I had actually bought at that point and my username, which I'm pretty attached to. Say what you will, but the steam support team are awesome.

If you're expecting to play games, don't. you won't be able to, hence the low score. Otherwise this app works completely fine for buying stuff, viewing videos, reviews, normal stuff you could do in any regular website. Steam Support remains absolute #1 in my opinion, got my account back after giving details, refunds less than a day, even answers to questions about games I bought. Videos are rather laggy but that could be my device. If you COULD play games on Mobile, that'd make this app #1
