Ratings and reviews

I don't know what people are complaining about, this app works fine. For clarity, no, this app doesn't allow you to play PC games on mobile, because that's not how software works. It's basically the app version of the steam website, with some additional features. The QR code login feature is VERY convenient, as I frequently need to sign into my Steam account on other devices, and this app lets do it with the push of a button.

I like the interface a lot, I think it's easy to use. The main reason I'm giving them 5 stars is for support. I lost access to my authenticator and account due to not using it for years. When I wanted back in and realized I was locked out, the support team worked hard to help me regain access, because of my own stupidity. I got to keep the one game I had actually bought at that point and my username, which I'm pretty attached to. Say what you will, but the steam support team are awesome.

Even if this app should be rated 5 stars functional, the company has been indicted for digital price gouging. In addition, the 7 day "steam guard" 3FA trade lock is completely unnecessary for the majority of users. The steam website doesn't even allow you to stay signed in for more than a day, it keeps logging you off and spams asking you for if you are underage or not. VR only games on the steam games aren't labeled properly. For some reason the UI button for full screen is actually "Big Pi
