About this app

Meet the new Vanguard app. We’ve updated and refined our features to make it easier than ever to invest from your mobile device. Along with our sleek new look, you can also log in to your accounts with Fingerprint ID. We’ll be rolling out new updates every few weeks, but if there’s something you want us to build, you can let us know in our Support tab.

Use the app to do the following (some features may not be available for employer-sponsored plans):

• Access an overview of your accounts to check your total assets and balances.

• Dive deeper to track your account performance, cost basis details, or day change information for each of your holdings.

• Make trades, deposit checks directly into your accounts, and review your transaction history.

• Find help, update your login preferences, and leave feedback via our Support tab.

Mostly I manage my accounts from a laptop logging in with Firefox. When I've taken rollover checks from Fidelity, I've used this app to speed deposit. This last time though … try to log in got to retrieve a code from messaging app, come back to put it in only to find I've been sent back to the first login prompt. I don't know how many times I went through this clown routine before I got in. Whew! Meantime I lock myself out: weekend. Got to wait to get customer service … Vanguard's losing cred!

decent app when it works..It crashes multiple times per day and gets annoying pretty quick. Takes me about 3-4 times of crashing and logging in before the app is functionable. That's if I can even log in. Some days I give up after 4 log in attempts and crashes. As of 8/16/25 not much has changed. for the worse if anything. App still crashes after logging in most times, but now the app opens into a web browser. No idea why these basic fixes cannot be fixed.

I used this app for a year. Constant crashes upon login, and basic navigation. Endless confirmation screens and trying to make basic timed trades is a complete headache. Today it completely failed to execute a morning trade and cost me a few thousand dollars when the stock dropped and I only found out later that it didn't execute. That was the final straw and I found other options. This app is fine if you want to dollar cost average VOO over time, but I wouldn't trust for anything else.

• Logging on to our website? Enhanced security for our new Skip the password QR code feature allows you to see device type, location, and browser type when logging in to ensure that it’s you accessing your account.
