TrueTag is a fast NFC tag reader, writer and scanner — with no ads, no account and no internet access. Everything runs on your phone, works offline and stays private.

READ ANY TAG
Tap any NFC tag and see exactly what it is. TrueTag decodes NDEF records (links, text, Wi-Fi, contacts and more) and always shows the tag's identity — serial number (UID), chip technologies, ATQA/SAK — even when a tag carries no readable data. No more "empty tag" dead ends.

CHECK IT'S GENUINE
Bought NTAG stickers online? TrueTag inspects the chip's version fingerprint and flags likely clones, so you know whether you got genuine chips or lookalikes.

WRITE IN SECONDS
Write links, plain text, Wi-Fi credentials, contacts, phone numbers, email, SMS and locations. Starter templates get common jobs done fast — including an emergency info (ICE) tag. Need many tags? Batch mode programs a whole stack in one session, and each tag is written exactly once even if you present it twice.

YOUR TAG LIBRARY
Save any scan or write to a local library: favorites, search, and one-tap "write this again". Export and import the whole library as plain, readable JSON — your data is never locked in.
