CameraFi USB Camera allows you to record videos using your smartphone camera or a USB camera.

It works on Android 9/Pie on a 1st gen Pixel, which my "old" app doesn't support. This is very full of ads, and to be ad free it's like $3/mo. The "old" app I bought was $3 for the Pro version. Kinda disappointed. I'd pay $3/mo for a *great* app, but this was just barely adequate. I'd easily pay $3-6 one time for this app, but not every month.

I've been using this app for almost 2 years now, note3, note8 & note 9. Unfortunately, it suddenly does not show the video on the phone anymore. The phone detects it & asks which app to use but no video image is shown. I've tried it on both camerafi 1 & 2. It might be due to the recent software upgrade from samsung, but i can't find any solutions. Help would be appreciated.

Have not been able to actually use it. Each time I open it, the app presents reams of self-promotional text. When I open a "camera" app, I expect to be IMMEDIATELY able to take a picture or video - without having to read a load of drivel imortant only to developers and marketers. Your experience may vary, but i reccommend to Stay Away.
