For Parents and Guardians
Never miss a vaccination again. VaxBook tracks your child's complete immunisation history against the South African EPI (Expanded Programme on Immunisation) schedule, alerting you when vaccines are due, overdue, or upcoming. Add multiple children to a single account and manage each of their health records independently.
Beyond vaccinations, VaxBook tracks your child's growth over time — recording weight, height, and head circumference measurements with visual charts that show your child's progress against standard growth curves. Monitor developmental milestones and book appointments with your healthcare provider directly through the app.

VaxBook also supports the Road to Health booklet- South Africa's official child health record- by providing a digital companion that keeps your child's health information safe, even if the physical booklet is lost or damaged.

For Healthcare Professionals
VaxBook supports verified clinicians- doctors, nurses, and midwives- registered with the HPCSA or SANC. Once verified by the VaxBook team, clinicians can request access to patient records with explicit parental approval. This two-way consent model ensures that children's health data is always protected and that parents remain in full control.

Clinicians can view vaccination histories, growth charts, and appointment records for their linked patients, enabling better continuity of care and more informed consultations. The platform is designed to complement, not replace, existing clinical systems.

Security and Privacy
VaxBook is built with privacy and security at its core. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We comply with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) and are registered with South Africa's Information Regulator.
Your child's health data belongs to you. VaxBook will never sell your data or share it with advertisers. You retain full read access to your child's records even after a subscription expires, and you can delete your account and all associated data at any time from within the app.
