About this app

VeloForth is a private, offline-first cycling companion for recording rides, planning bicycle routes and navigating beyond the signal.

Record your rides with live speed, distance, duration and elevation information. VeloForth can continue recording an active ride while the screen is locked, with an ongoing notification keeping you informed. Recording only starts when you choose Start ride and stops when you finish the ride.

Plan cycling routes for quiet roads, scenery, gravel, hills and other riding preferences. Download supported map and routing data before setting off so you can continue navigating within downloaded areas when internet access is unavailable.

VeloForth also lets you:

• Review saved rides and annual statistics
• Import and export GPX routes and tracks
• Manage bicycles, mileage and service reminders
• Save favourite places and recent destinations
• Prepare for rides with route, weather and bicycle checks

No account is required. Ride history, bicycles, saved places and offline-region details are stored locally on your device. VeloForth has no advertising, analytics or cloud sync.

Location permission is required for ride recording and navigation. Online place discovery, live routing and downloading offline data require an internet connection.
