About this app

VeriDash turns your phone into a tamper-proof dashcam. Every clip is cryptographically sealed, so you can prove your footage is genuine and unaltered — ideal for accidents, disputes, and insurance claims.

WHY VERIDASH

• Tamper-proof by design — each recording is hashed with SHA-256 and linked in a hash chain, so any edit or deletion is detectable. Your footage stands up as trustworthy evidence.
• Records in the background — keep recording while you navigate, take calls, or switch to other apps. VeriDash keeps capturing through a foreground service.
• On-video data overlay (OSD) — recording time, GPS coordinates, and speed are shown on playback, along with a route map.
• Secure cloud storage — clips upload to the cloud with an offline queue, so nothing is lost when you're out of signal.
• Loop recording — automatic 30-second segments keep storage tidy, while impact events are protected from auto-deletion.

PERMISSIONS

VeriDash uses the camera and microphone to record, and location to log your route and speed alongside the video. A foreground service keeps recording reliably while the app runs in the background.
