I took the battery reviews with a grain of salt - until I saw this app taking about 30% of my total battery usage by just running in the background. I've never encountered something so absurd. I can not imagine how a developer with corporate contracts for their app/hardware refuses to rework the communication protocol. Do better. Absolute trash with ZERO excuse.

Very regularly doesn't work. I'll be right next to a reader, and it's not detected as nearby. The only thing that reliably works is restarting my phone -- it's really fun waiting 2-3 minutes to get into the elevators. This app is the reason that I'm not gonna renew my lease. Great when it actually works... but that's only about 25% of the time, so two stars is already generous.

Uninstalled. The dev needs to remove friction and overhead. To use this app they expect you to keep it going in the background with Bluetooth on sucking up battery. I only need this app a few times a week to get into the gym. So I'd log out to kill the background process. But then had to log in again to get back into the app. And the magic link doesn't actually get sent. Very clunky. This has to be easier than a physical key. Keep trying!
