I've used this app over the last two years to track and record my location on country walks then revisit tracing my path with friends. It's accurate on locations and stats when comparing it to my friends devices. I've not noted the accuracy step counter as it's the distance and circuit I need to track. GPS works offline on flight mode which saves on battery life and the tracking works perfectly in the pocket however there is a downside. You can't name the locations of the walks.

If you turn off WiFi, the app takes a LONG time to update its path so the GPS blue dot is far off the end of the red line. When the path is eventually updated, it's marked as a straight line which can be wrong. This brings 2 issues: (1) the wifi checking should be done in a different thread from the path update thread and (2) why does the app check WiFi in the first place? It's not about net access: I had mobile data on and the same problem happened. Is it mapping hotspots without telling us?

Whether I walk 20 minutes or 90 minutes, the app always measures it approx 10-15 minutes less than it was. Obviously this makes nonsense of the speed calculation, which is the main thing I want to keep track of. So this app is useless to me. Also it's always terribly slow to open (1-2 minutes) and sometimes can't locate me even when other apps can.
