Ratings and reviews

Technology is evidently an afterthought for this company. The app has trouble with freezing in new Android versions. That and many more issues plague the app, notably: bad stream quality/compression has been an issue for years. For a company this large it boggles my mind they haven't hired a few skilled people to take charge and fix the situation yet.

Never take the one-month free offer—you may end up paying for six months or more. Most of the movies are only available through rental or purchase, so you often have to pay extra (around €3.99) just to watch something decent. Many of the movies included in the €29 package can easily be found on YouTube 😊 Once you realize what’s happening, it becomes difficult to cancel the subscription. Your card details may be hidden, and you might not be able to remove them yourself. It feels like scammed

Poorly designed. No picture in picture mode for Android. Somehow all of Viaplay's competitors manage it.
