You need at least three hands (or hands the size of a garden rake) to follow the instructions. Holding the phone straight while positioning the card makes it impossible to reach the shutter icon without tipping the phone. There should be an option to position the shutter icon where you can reach it. It would be easier to take the picture lying down but app only accepts upright phone. It should be easy to use the spirit level for flat down phone but that wasn't included. Results inaccurate.

It's much easier than you think. Just tap on screen anywhere to shutter. You have an automatic option, enable it and picture is taken automatically as soon as your phone is straight. It also beeps to let you know the moment when the picture is taken so you can be ready. Please contact support@vistechprojects.com for further help or a refund

The app would not take the picture to measure unless the phone was held totally straight. Which actually seemed to be slightly tilted forward, an angle that I could not hold and take the pic at the same time. It was too frustrating. I found a better way to do it using the camera on my laptop.

Yes, you should hold the phone straight, it's critical for accureate measurements. The app can take picture automatiucaclly when you hold it straight (need to toggle this feature on screen). But overall the app works as described for you, no issues, correct?

Pleasantly surprised. Expected the 3$ the app cost to be in vain. Needed to measure my IPD for my Valve Index (VR Headset) after, and I kid you not, YEARS of having it set to 68-70 which is what felt the most comfortable at the time. Gave this app a go, it told me my IPD was 62.5. Was skeptical, but applied the distance to my headset... Difference is night and day. It's an entirely different, significantly clearer experience. Took me maybe a minute to measure at that. 5 stars :)
