Don't pay for this Used it when brought it this afternoon then when I went back into it, it wouldn't open. Waste of time and money
The directions just state that you need a reference card but doesnt state that the card should be a credit, gift card or similar. It needs to be more specific about what a "reference card" is.
Very accurate application !
Very accurate with the new version. Makes for easy glasses buying. I just wish I knew about this two weeks ago when I ordered some new glasses. Still, I recommend it for anyone who is shopping for glasses online and doesn't have a PD measurement already.
works pretty well didn't find my pupils, but easy enough to touch-drag the markers into place. found the credit card stripe just fine. would be cool to have a general-measurement version of this. would probably be more accurate if I could hold the camera further away from my face (at abuot 18" I think there may have been some parallax issue)
I really tried to make this work In theory this could translate your 3D head to a 2D image and make an accurate measurement. BUT, you have to hold your head, camera, and credit card in just the right position and angle. And you can't. Not reliably. BUT...you could check your results with a 99 cent ruler to know if you were doing it right. Better just use the ruler and call it a day. "OK Google, how do I measure my pupil distance with a rule?" Wow, that was easy. Why did I blow $2 and an hour trying to get accurate results with this app?
