$9.99 per month is too much for this, good content or not. UI looks good at first glance but isn't long term. Share button and top bar covering text, scroll left/right issues, paid ads high in the list for weeks even though I've read it, read articles still showing up, etc. etc. Make it cheaper and I would buy it.
Digital access should work on both pc and phone etc, but on phone version I'm asked daily if I want to sign up even though I've been a member since September. Support still don't know what's the issue
I love the Washington Post, but this app does the newspaper a great disservice, and the 4.6 rating is beyond misleading. It's the slowest, clunkiest app that I use. It hangs constantly, and then often fails to load no matter how long I wait. Seriously, Jeff Bezos, this is the best you can do? It's an embarrassment, both to a very fine newspaper and to Amazon. If only the business people were doing their jobs, like the journalists are...
Crashes. Limited ability to search or go directly to articles of interest. Does not integrate with Google Playstand which won't let me read more than 10 stories a month even though I have paid for a subscription.
I love the Washington Post and gladly pay for quality investigative reporting, but please please please fix your app. Something as simple as sharing a story shouldn't get messed up, but whenever I go to share a story from the app it only ever shares the headline OR just a generic WP link, and not an actual link to the story.
Always hangs up when using. Always get 'not responding' error. Aggravating.
