About this app

Web of Medicine is a medical literature app built by a practising
doctor. It reads the new peer-reviewed research in your specialty every
day, filters it by level of evidence and journal quality, and
summarises what is left.

Over a million papers reach PubMed every year. Most tools that filter
them are fragmented, slow, or priced for institutions rather than for
individual clinicians. This one is built for the doctor reading on a
commute between cases.

A DAILY FEED OF NEW RESEARCH
New studies in your specialty, each summarised to the essentials and
cited back to PubMed. Read the day's literature in a few minutes.

CLINICAL EVIDENCE, GRADED AND FILTERABLE
Every paper carries its Oxford level of evidence, its journal quartile
and its study design, with limitations noted. Filter the feed to
systematic reviews and randomised controlled trials in Q1 journals
only, or narrow it to a single journal.

ASK AI ABOUT ANY TOPIC, JOURNAL OR AUTHOR
Ask a clinical question in plain English. Web of Medicine builds the
PubMed search for you, reads the abstracts and ranks the results by
evidence. Track down a specific paper, follow an author, or explore a
question you have never had time to chase.

TURN ANY QUESTION INTO AN EMAIL FEED
Follow a search and receive its best new paper by email or push
notification, daily or weekly. A literature alert that is curated
rather than dumped on you.

AI SUMMARIES AND PODCASTS
Summaries drawn from the full text where the paper is openly available,
not the abstract alone. Or turn any study into a two-voice AI podcast
and listen hands-free.

WIKIMED: A LIVING MEDICAL ENCYCLOPEDIA
Referenced topic pages compiled from the current evidence base, every
claim cited to its source, with an interactive atlas linking related
topics. If the topic you need does not exist yet, generate it and it is
written from the literature.

A BOARD-STYLE QUESTION EACH DAY
One question drawn from a recent clinical trial, with the answer
grounded in the paper itself.

BUILT AROUND HOW YOU READ
Save papers for later, follow the topics that matter to you, and keep a
record of what you have read. Earn points for reading time and see
where you rank within your specialty.

WHO IT IS FOR
Physicians, surgeons, residents, fellows, medical students and
researchers who need to stay current with clinical evidence without
reading every abstract themselves.

Web of Medicine is a research and education tool. AI-generated
summaries are provided for convenience and are not medical advice or a
substitute for professional clinical judgment. Always consult the
primary source and relevant guidelines before making clinical
decisions.

Membership options unlock ad-free reading and expanded AI features.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled and can be managed
in Google Play.
