Ratings and reviews

Edit: Initially useful but gradually less and less so. Late cleaners, difficult to contact staff and finally a glitch in the app so I couldn't update my payment details preventing me from rebooking. Cannot recommend under the circumstances. (previously: Very useful so far.)

The "gig economy" approach to this stuff just doesn't seem to work very well. We just had a stringy of flakey, disaffected cleaners. In the end I learned they were only getting minimum wage, a fair bit less than we were paying, so no wonder. But generally you want someone you can depend on for that sort of thing, not just a random person looking for gig work.

Their cleaners have caused damage in my home on 3 occasions but their insurance does not cover the first £200, and the next £150 is only offered in vouchers. One of the cleaners basically did no cleaning just caused damage, and they refuse to help telling me the contract is between me and the cleaner. it is impossible to speak to someone past template responses, and they will ignore anything that falls outside the template. editing to add that I've been promised 3 phone calls and received 0.
