WhisFai is a privacy-first communication app built for people who want genuine security, not just a privacy policy. Every message, voice note, file, and call is protected by end-to-end encryption that not even WhisFai can read.
WHAT MAKES WHISFAI DIFFERENT
No phone number required. No email required. Just a username and password.
Keys are never exchanged over the internet. Two people. One room. One Bluetooth handshake. That is the only way a connection begins.
Your keys are backed up on our server, but wrapped in your password, which we never see. Without your password, the backup is meaningless, even to us.
All data is encrypted on your device before it leaves. The server stores only ciphertext it cannot read. Not in transit. Not at rest. Never.

Crystal-clear voice and video calls routed through an encrypted LiveKit media server. No call logs are stored. Pro plan unlocks HD video quality.
Nearby Discovery
Meet people in person and connect securely using Bluetooth Low Energy. WhisFai scans for nearby users, shows signal strength in real time, and lets you verify and add contacts face to face.
Friend-of-Friend Detection
WhisFai passively detects when a friend's friend is physically nearby and sends you a discreet notification so you can choose to connect without revealing your identity to strangers.
Per-Connection Encryption Keys
Each friendship gets its own unique encryption key generated during in-person BLE pairing. These keys never leave your devices unprotected.
Encrypted File and Media Sharing
Send images, documents, and voice notes, all encrypted before upload. Supports PDF, Word, Excel, CSV, and common image formats up to 50 MB per file.
Screen Sharing
Share your screen during a video call for collaboration or support, secured inside the same encrypted session.
Disappearing Messages
Set messages to auto-delete after 1 hour, 1 day, 7 days, or 30 days.
Biometric App Lock
Lock WhisFai with Face ID, Touch ID, or fingerprint so your chats stay private even if your phone is unlocked.
