Tried this out today. white screen, and nothing more. Did run on my larger Samsung Android phone, got to registration, and successfully done, tried to add a private number, but NONE were available in Canada or the USA, so that was a fail - so I skipped that option. Then I got a white blank screen, tried a reboot - which allowed app to run. Unfortunately, the email verification never arrived (even in spam) so my account was impossible to complete setup. THREE re-send verification attempts.

This might be a good app, but I'll never know. I tried to set up an account. The app demanded email verification but evidently did not send the verification link as I never received it even after half a dozen tries.

It says it's "Global", but it didn't have the right International Digits that preceed the number I was trying to text. There is no in-app Help button or contact; I tried three times, and an "error" came up three times. Not user-friendly, and does not perform its one task: to send a text, free, and hassle-free.
