A recent update drastically increased the amount of data harvesting with limited opt-out abilities. One of the opt-out descriptions literally says to just uninstall the app if you don't want your data collected. This was a pretty whimsical app otherwise, but I don't think my weather app needs to know things like - what other apps I have installed - knowledge of my wifi/Bluetooth/dataplan - call logs - a list of near by IoT devices

HOW IS NO ONE ELSE TALKING ABOUT THIS!? Very funny but pretty much a gag app. No radar animation maps is the biggest con. There is no movement or indication where the weather is going or coming from. It's just a picture of the current precipitation and thats it. its also kinda slow to load and it loads from the beginning every time even if you just minimize it. For free its adequate i guess, Its just not worth any money at all, sad I dropped 20 bucks on it.

Latest update outlined LOTS of data sharing with a huge grocery list of 3rd parties. If I paid for the app (which I did long ago) I shouldn't have to opt out of being spied on by every company using the most time-consuming method possible: one at a time, using instructions buried in each individual privacy policy. Looking outside is a lot less invasive.
