The Thermo app helps you take care of your whole family’s health. Created for use with Thermo, the Nokia smart temporal thermometer, the app automatically syncs temperature readings for each user via WiFi or Bluetooth. Each user can then view a complete history of temperature readings on their timeline.

To create a more detailed history, you can easily add extra information to each reading:

Symptoms: Whatever and whenever you or someone you care for experiences a symptom, it’s easier than ever to keep track so you can relay this info to your doctor.
Medicine: What did you take and when? Add medications administered to understand how they affect temperature and so you know when and if you need more.
Comments: Add any additional notes that may be relevant to your temperature or illness.
Photos: Strange rash? Feeling better? Select a picture from your phone’s gallery, or take a new picture to add to your timeline.

The Thermo app also provides the following useful features:

Reminder: Set a reminder to take your temperature at certain hours of the day or in specific time increments.
Manual Temperature: If you don’t own a Thermo device, or simply want to enter additional temperature readings, you can do just that. Simply select “Manual Temperature” and add your details.

If you log a high temperature reading, Thermo can help you assess the severity of your fever.

The benefit of tracking temps, meds and symptoms via the app is invaluable when speaking to medical professionals that need an accurate history. However, there are certainly a few bugs in the implementation (both the thermo and the app). The biggest gripe I have is when both parents use the same account for each of their phones. The temperatures sync to the two applications just fine, but manually entered data (like medicine) does not.

It works like any thermometer. The sync to the app can be a bit tricky. You may need to use Bluetooth. WiFi has been slightly better lately. I find that BT works best. I've not seen it loose any data in daily use. I did notice that after the firmware update I had to factory reset the device to continue uploading info at all. (You'll lose whatever is on the device.) It did take a temp. Just couldn't share it. That was disappointing. Now it works well!

Unusable. Can't get past trying to create an avatar. Oops. There seems to be a connectivity issue. Have uninstalled, re-installed, rebooted, side loaded an older version. This is an issue on your end, as this is the same review from all recent users. I was able to finish setting up an account through the other withings app, then forgetting the thermo and starting over, but now if I try to add another user, same message. Please fix
