About this app

With My Navigo Tickets application, your transport card and its tickets are digitalized on your mobile !

This application is an extension to your transit application and therefore requires its prior installation.

My Navigo Tickets digitalizes your transport card so you can load and validate your tickets directly with your transit app.
To use your tickets, simply touch your smartphone on the contactless readers at the gates or on the buses and trams.
Please note that uninstalling the application or deleting its data will erase the tickets it contains.

My Navigo Tickets application is compliant with NFC smartphones running Android 8.0 and above.

Despite all the promises of this being an add-on app that has to be installed but not active, the only way I could get my ticket validated on a bus was to have this app open as I tapped it on the pad. Why could I not just tap my contactless card instead of installing two counter-intuitive apps, registering twice, paying and then having to open all the apps, just to get on a bus. Not a friendly system at all.

I bought tickets but couldn't see them in the Navigo app so thought they were lost. However another user review says "This app is an add-on, and you will not see it on your phone. Once you buy your ticket, it creates a digital message and your phone *is the ticket*. Simply place your phone near the ticket reader at the turnstiles or on the vehicle. There is nothing you have to bring up on your screen to show or scan." So I'll try doing that. But it's a very unintuitive way for an app to work.

Paris is so poor that it turned to robbery and made this app, it will invariably, as a guarantee, steal your money, and you'll be stranded in front of some train/metro exit, happened to me at the airport, at some empty metro station and everything in between. It's legalized theft, this app is a voluntary tax that user decide to pay, nothing more, there's endless queue for physical tickets for a reason.
